Lastly, Serviio finally supports multiple genres per video.Īs usual, the upgrade will rescan your entire library, so expect some higher CPU usage while it's happening.

Serviio will add your library items to the collection (assuming you are using descritpive metadata for your videos) and will also keep track of the videos you play to update your viewing progress on. On the back of the above, Serviio now integrates with service. Check out the playback notifications in the Console and playback info on the Status page in the Console. I guess I'm not looking for answers necessarily or suggestions, as much as I'm posting this as an observation and documenting this recent behavior for others to see. There is also a paid for Pro edition which further enhances the possibilities of sharing content in your connected household. May I know if there is any troubleshooting procedure for this case where the correct status is not reported/shown on the management console Thank you.
However the device seems to be normal that it recently gotten an update (50 minutes ago at the the time of checking). I have NEVER had any trouble adding media servers to the Mediashare list before, by using the firewall-off/red-button-reset method. I have seen a device (macOS) showing as inactive on the management console. Seems like I have been reading various threads and posts where people seem to be having some issues.
I am beginning to suspect the latest version of the DVR software. So Serviio can see Directv, just not the other way. When I go into the Serviio console, the Directv box shows up in the list of devices.
I have turned off the firewall on my PC and reset the HR21 several times, and serviio will not show up under My Computers.

The caveat here being all the other media servers were added prior to the latest DVR software release. I also have another media server running on my router with an attached hard drive and Mediashare sees that fine as well. I also have Mezzmo installed and Mediashare sees that just fine. I already have windows media player set to stream, and Mediashare sees that just fine. I recently installed Serviio on my PC and Mediashare is not recognizing it no matter what I do.
